Plans, trial and billing

StockDigest has two plans: Growth at $19 a month and Pro at $39 a month. Both start with a 14-day free trial, and both are billed through Shopify, so the charge appears on your Shopify bill.

Both plans include the app in your Shopify admin, with Dashboard, Digest history and Settings, and both use the same forecast: see How forecasts work. Pro adds instant alerts and stock per location. The pricing page has the same comparison.

The free trial and choosing a plan

Both plans start with a 14-day free trial. You choose a plan on Shopify’s plan page for the app: if you open StockDigest without an active plan, it takes you there.

Billing

Billing is Shopify’s own app billing. StockDigest doesn’t ask for payment details, and the charge appears on your Shopify bill.

Changing plans

In Settings, the Plan section shows your plan and price, such as “Growth, $19/month”, with a Change plan button. It opens Shopify’s plan page, where you pick the other plan. On Growth, the See Pro button in the Instant alerts section opens the same page. When Shopify sends you back to StockDigest, it checks your plan with Shopify right away.

Moving to Pro:

• Instant alerts start. They’re on unless you’ve turned them off in Settings.
• Up to 10 people can be on the digest list.
• StockDigest re-imports the last 60 days of sales, so stores with 2 or more locations have per-location history from the start.
• Digests are kept for 1 year from then on. Digests already deleted under Growth don’t come back.

Moving to Growth:

• Instant alerts stop. StockDigest checks your plan with Shopify before every alert, so none are sent after the change.
• Stock per location no longer appears on the dashboard or in new digests.
• At the next nightly cleanup, digests older than 90 days are deleted. See Digest history.
• If more than 3 confirmed people get the email, the first 3 added keep getting it and the rest are paused. Nobody is removed, and moving back to Pro resumes them. See the daily email.

Cancelling

Uninstalling StockDigest cancels the subscription. It also deletes your store’s data from StockDigest: see Your data, and what happens when you uninstall. If you reinstall later, StockDigest starts fresh and imports the last 60 days of sales again.

Without an active plan

If your store has no active plan, StockDigest doesn’t build digests or send alerts, and opening the app takes you to Shopify’s plan page.
