The forecast is arithmetic on your own sales, the same every day, so you can check any number in the email. AI only writes the short summary on top.

Half the 28-day average plus half the 7-day average, so a recent change shows up within days, without one odd day swinging it.

In stock ÷ sales per day.
Runs out before restock
When days left is no more than the product's lead time. Low means within a week of that, or at your low-stock level.

Sales per day × (lead time + cover days) − in stock − on the way.

Do I need to set anything up?

No. StockDigest starts with a 14-day lead time, 30 days of cover and a low-stock level of 10 units, and imports your last 60 days of sales when you install. Change any of it later, per product where it matters. Installing StockDigest

Where do the numbers come from?

From your own Shopify sales and live inventory. Sales speed blends the last 28 days with the last 7, and stock on the way comes from transfers that have shipped. How forecasts work

Does it work with more than one location?

Yes. The main forecast adds up stock across all locations. On Pro, stores with two or more locations also see each location on its own, with transfer suggestions. Stock per location

What does the AI do?

Only the short summary at the top of the email. It is checked against your numbers before sending, and if it fails the check the email goes out without it. Days left and reorder amounts are plain math. About the AI highlights

Who gets the email?

Up to 3 people on Growth, 10 on Pro. Each address confirms by email first, every email has an unsubscribe link, and nothing is sent on days with nothing to report. The daily email

Can it place orders with my suppliers?

No. Shopify doesn't let apps create purchase orders, so you order the way you do today. StockDigest tells you what and how many, and counts the stock once it's on the way.

How is it billed?

Through Shopify, on your regular Shopify bill: $19 a month for Growth or $39 for Pro, after a 14-day free trial. Uninstalling cancels it. Pricing
