How it decides
A product shows up when it has stock on hand and no sale in the last 60 days. You can set the window anywhere from 30 to 120 days.
Products created during that window are skipped, so a launch from last week isn't called a failure.
Low-stock rules
In the morning email, too
The digest ends with the biggest piles that haven't moved, so slow stock gets looked at before you place the next order. The full list is in the app.

Why Shopify's reports don't hand you this list
Shopify's sell-through and percent-sold reports show how much of each product sold in a period. To find the ones that didn't sell, you set the date range, export, sort and check the list yourself, every time you want it.
Nothing built in emails you a list of products that haven't sold, without setting it up yourself.
What to do with them
- Discount it to turn the stock back into cash.
- Bundle it with something that sells.
- Stop reordering it, and put the money into what's running out.
Questions
More in the help center.
Which plan includes it?
Both. The not-selling report is part of Growth and Pro.
Can I look for products that haven't sold in 90 days?
Yes. Set "Count as not selling after" to anything from 30 to 120 days in Settings. StockDigest imports 60 days of sales when you install, so a longer window fills in over the following weeks.
Why isn't a new product on the list?
Products created during the window are left out until they've had the whole window to sell.
Are out-of-stock products included?
No. Only products with stock on hand, since those are the ones tying up money and shelf space.
Does it look at each variant?
Yes. A product with one slow color shows that color, even if its other variants sell well.
